Watch this item!   High Bidder(s): CMPUser463 (0) Shipping Cost: $22.95 Who will pay shipping?: Buyer Elliott Item #: auction Serial Number: 3000279 Data Sheet Link:  IMAGE THUMBNAILS Click on a picture to enlarge  ITEM DESCRIPTION Remington started serial numbers at 3,000,000 on the 1903 rifles.  So this is a 3 digit S.N.  Matching barrel on this rifle is dated "R.A. 10-41".  The barrel has a good bore with a TE of 2+ and a muzzle of 2+.  The rifle does headspace good.  The rifle retains about 90% of the black finish.  It does not have the hatcher hole.  The stock is a finger groove, but does not have an markings.  The wood has normal nicks and dings for a rifle of this age.
