The military contract resulted in production from 1941-1943. Then conbination trigger/floor plate is a steel stamping. The M-75 is characterized by a unique magazine release button located on the left side of the stock. The 5-round magazine is not included with this rifle. The sights consist of a blade front, dovetailed into the barrel and a Lyman 57E aperture rear sight. The barrel is drilled and tapped for attachment of a telescopic sight. Barrel and receiver have about 70-80% of the original finish. Most of the finish on the trigger guard and floor plate is worn off. The stock has a polyurethane finish with numerous dings and scratches. One of the 2 drilled and tapped scope block holes just in front of the rear sight contains a broken screw.
